FOREST THERAPY IS

In essence, Forest Therapy is a mindful walk through the forest in which we slow down and immerse all of our senses in the experience. Forest Therapy is based, in part, upon the Japanese practice of  shinrin-yoku, which translates literally as 'forest bathing'.

It is a practice whose benefits are part of an ever-growing body of scientific research, and which supports emotional, physical and mental well-being & healing by reducing stress and blood pressure, boosting immune response, and alleviating symptoms of mood disorders, among many other benefits. Come join us in the forest!

Hello! I'm Betsy Booth, certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, life coach, and plant medicine maker. As a former fire lookout and trail dog, and always ardent hiker and backpacker, I find my heart and mind are happiest and most balanced when I take the time to move over the land. I feel honored to be able to take part in & share the medicine of the Idaho forest with you!
